The Art of Positional Play

Not really. I was in a bad mood because I had failed in my previous game, a Smith-Morra, in my attempt to "be like Marc." A positional player would have played 5...Nf6 (instead of my 5...e4!?) and 10...Bc5 11.Bd3 Qe7 (instead of my 10...g5?!). In either case, says Houdini, I would have had the advantage, whereas my "cowabunga" play could have enabled White to equalize. But hey, it worked!
